Helen Hadden Psychotherapist

My work in mental health started over 16 years ago as a volunteer with Samaritans. I then trained as a mental health nurse before completing many years of training to become a registered psychodynamic psychotherapist, working in the NHS and private practice. I am also trained in EMDR and Compassion Focussed Therapy. 

My training and credentials

I trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS, often referred to as simply the Tavistock Clinic or Tavistock and Portman, which has a long and rich history in mental health and psychotherapy. My training is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), which sets high standards for training and practice in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP) and the EMDR Association UK

I have worked psychotherapeutically with adults for many years, one-on-one and facilitating therapeutic groups. I work face-to-face and online.
